Why did you choose your current University/Country?

My high level of interest in the energy systems space coupled with my love for travelling and exploring new places influenced my decision.

How has the experience been so far?

It has been AWESOME!

What have you found most interesting about your new city?

I have found the efficient transport system to be the most eye-catching feature, for now, the buses are always on time!!! The food and lifestyle here are also superb; it took me a while to adjust, but now I look forward to munching on French delicacies every day!

What advice do you have for prospective scholars?

My advice to prospective scholars is to build a community of like-minded individuals around themselves, work together on applications, and provide emotional support for each other during the waves of rejection letters.

How did i-Scholar initiative contribute to your journey?

Winning the ISI Scholarship provided me with a positive atmosphere that made my scholarship hunt easier. Apart from the generous funding provided for my GRE and TOEFL exams, the constant exposure to insightful webinars coupled with mentorship from senior scholars and professionals made a whole lot of difference. Also, the exclusive scholars’ community made it easy for me to bounce my ideas off my fellow scholars and get useful advice. I am forever grateful to the iSI for providing me with such an opportunity.
