Hanatu Kadir-Banjoko

Hanatu Kadir-Banjoko is a Senior Petrophysicist and project management professional with over 15-year experience in the oil and gas sector, She currently works as an Oil and Gas market outlook advisor at ExxonMobil where she leverages data analytics and market intelligence to aid investment decision at the corporate level. She holds a B Eng. (Hons) degree in Petroleum engineering from ATBU Bauchi, Nigeria, an M.Sc. in Petroleum Geology from University of Houston, Texas, United States and is poised to start her EMBA at Kellogg Northwestern in fall of 2023

Prior to her current role at ExxonMobil, she worked at Schlumberger internationally in several engineering and consulting capacities, leading delivery of technology solutions and providing petrophysics consulting services to diverse oil and gas clients on asset evaluation to aid their field development and investment decisions. She joined ExxonMobil in 2019, as a Formation Evaluation Specialist, responsible for planning, coordinating and leading the execution of data acquisition and analytical programs underpinning the Permian field development.

Hanatu is an ardent believer in the power of education to liberate and empower and is an advocate for continuous development as a tool for advancement. She is a partner and volunteer at I-Scholar Initiative and is actively involved in the recruiting of partners, screening of candidates for scholarship as well as mentoring. When she is not working or volunteering, she loves to sew, travel and photograph. She shares her life with her wonderful partner Olakunle Banjoko and is a proud mother of Nathan and Bella.
