David Nworie is a first-generation PhD scholar at the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering, Colorado School of Mines, Golden.
Prior to his PhD, he earned his master’s degree in Petroleum Science and Engineering from the State University of Campinas, Brazil and his Bachelors of Science in Geology from Ebonyi State University, Nigeria.
He is a result driven activist and an SDG advocate, whose passion to serve humanity has earned him several achievements during previous engagements including participating in the United States’ signature Young African Leaders initiative (Cohort 15). He is the convener of the Green Community Initiative (GCI), a social hub for young civil leaders whose objective centers on growing a unique network of young african civil leaders who are passionate about the society, home and abroad.
David enjoys travelling, interacting, networking and associates freely with people.
